Wendy Green Lowe has almost 30 years of experience in group process facilitation and public participation support. She has managed large- and small-scale public participation programs in budget and on time to meet client objectives on highly controversial issues. Wendy has successfully designed and facilitated group processes for a variety of public and private organizations and specializes in managing collaborative processes involving diverse perspectives to consensus outcomes. She has developed and implemented public involvement plans, managed public meetings of various formats, and moderated public hearings. She is well acquainted and at ease with the policy-making process and how to design a program for involving the public in that process.

Wendy is an International Association of Facilitators (IAF) member, Certified Professional Facilitator, a licensed trainer and past Training Director for the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2), and is on the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution’s roster of environmental facilitators.

She frequently facilitates stand-alone meetings for a wide range of clients, including the U.S. Department of Energy, Batelle Energy Alliance, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, and Bechtel B&W Idaho. Her specialty, however, is managing and expediting collaborative group planning and consensus-building processes. In the past four years, Wendy has successfully ameliorated 11 multi-stakeholder working groups dealing with issues as diverse as radioactive and hazardous contamination, sage grouse conservation, biomass utilization, Yellowstone sustainable development framework, and regional watershed management. She approaches each facilitation effort with sensitivity to the specific needs of the project and her clients.
