For at least three decades now, we’ve known that when it comes to public confidence and trust, big government has mostly been out to lunch, and the most recent data confirms that it’s not getting any better. There are no magic cures, but again, there are indeed proven ways of making it better over time. The biggest obstacle is actually not knowing how – we have a pretty solid understanding of what to do differently. The challenge is almost always ego and the willingness to do what needs to be done. So, borrowing from Coldplay, you have to ask yourself, “Am I part of the cure or am I part of the disease?”
